Fun trip onto Burr Oak Lake. We all had a great lunch at the Burr Oak Lodge & Conference Center. Then went back out to fish some more.
Terrible weather cold-front with an East wind made for a tough day on Clear Fork Reservoir. Either way, they did hook-up with a handful of little ones. Clear Fork offers much better quality than these.
These buddies spent a birthday weekend fishing with me at Burr Oak State Park.
It was 97-degrees (actual temperature). And I marked water temperatures of 90-degrees on this day. It was hot!

This 15-year old caught this Muskellunge on my Excalibur square-bill crankbait that I had spooled up with 10lb. Vicious fluorocarbon line while we were fishing for bass at Clear Fork Reservoir.
We had a fun day catching bass out on Wolf Run Lake. We didn’t catch a big one. But it was still a good time.
2015 4th of July weekend at Burr Oak Lodge and Conference Center. The lodge offers a 20% discount to JignPig Guide Service clientele. This 13-year old and his father caught: largemouth, crappie, bluegill, and warmouth. Then we tied up at the lodge docks and had a great lunch in the lodge dinning room.
Hoover Reservoir is where we caught a limit of these.

They whacked ’em on Father’s Day weekend. Wolf Run Lake.
She caught this giant on a Venom Lure Sweet Dream at Burr Oak lake during their stay at the Burr Oak Lodge.
These two clients were in from out-of-state. We had a nice afternoon trip onto Wolf Run Lake. They managed to catch a handful, even though the wind was blowing over 30mph.
This 76-year old angler wanted to get out and catch a bunch of bass. We caught 25-largemouth bass on our half-day trip on to a heavily populated (with bass) public lake.
This was a miserably cold and wet fishin’ trip onto Wolf Run Lake. The drop-shot rig caught the fish during this cold snap. We barely got hooked up. It was a tough outing.
Cold weather trip at Burr Oak State Park Lake.
He is from London England. These are the first Largemouth Bass he has ever seen. Twenty-one (21) bass were caught on his outing at Hargus Creek Lake. He saw his first Largemouth, Warmouth, and Crappie, on his trip.
Their family treated these boys with a Burr Oak bluegill trip.

This was an incredibly hot Summer fishin’ trip. They caught them on crankbaits.
We threw the drop-shot rig and Venom Sweet Dream to catch ’em at Wolf Run Lake.
They booked their 1st trip to Burr Oak, and their 2nd trip to Wolf Run. They caught more bass at Wolf Run. And this father & son had a fun time.

This was a very pleasant Summertime Clear Fork Reservoir trip with a father and son team. Fishing was tough this day.
Here’s a fishin’ buddy of mine. We caught 30-largemouth on this day that averaged about 2-1/2 pounds each. We were fishin’ West Harbor/Lake Erie.
He caught this nice one on a drop-shot rig at Wolf Run Lake.
They also caught some good largemouth bass to go along with the big Muskellunge while fishing at Clear Fork Reservoir.
I teased this kid about putting him on my “Wall of Shame” for catching such a small bass. This grandfather and grandson clients and I had great fun on Piedmont Lake.
